Continue painting trim in dining room
Paint second coat in bedroom closet, and in hall closet, and maybe in library closet
Paint shelves for the closets.

Not plans for tonight:
Reading the new D&D rule books - In spite of the fact that I preordered them and they were released today, Amazon didn't feel they needed to get them to me today. In fact, Amazon doesn't think that I'll need them till Tuesday.

I’d like to get as much painting done tonight as possible that way over the weekend while it’s dreadfully hot I can hide in the shade and move as little as possible.

This month’s First Saturday theme in Frederick is “I ART Downtown Frederick” Not nearly as exciting as it was when it was Literacy month and they had all those tables of books. Since Tigergladys has to work a half day, and we won’t want to be walking Frederick during the worst heat of the day, we’re probably going to be making a somewhat later trip then we usually do. This isn’t as big a deal in June as it is in November because the sun doesn’t set till much later.

Have you started your holiday shopping yet? I haven’t. Really I haven’t even thought much about it yet. This fall has just zoomed by, mostly due to school, and Lucy’s classes. Not a bad thing mind you, just a thing. Of course I really should get to it...

This past weekend for instance, I spent quite a bit of time reading about accounting issues that have cropped up over the last couple of years, trying to find a good topic for the paper that’s due on Wednesday. I did find one, and have a nice 3 page paper to show for it. I also had to write about the movie Disclosure. I had hoped to watch it online, say from Netflix, but the closest I got was from AOL I think, and they wanted $9.99 for it. No thanks! So I turned to wikipedia and it's lengthy plot outline, and now I have the 3 questions answered. I also watched the PowerPoint presentations and reread the 2 chapters in the accounting book in preparation for the test that’s also on Wednesday.

Late on Sunday I slapped some paint on the rangers of Gondor that I’ve sort of been working on. I say sort of because all the work I’ve done on them has been over the course of number of sittings. I’m actually pleased with how their faces have turned out though. Not bad for troop miniatures.

Looking at the calendar for the next couple of weeks I can see I’m not going to have a whole lot of free time between now and finals. In fact I think Sunday the 2nd is the only free day I’ve got. Tomorrow is the last of Lucy’s agility class until January, which does give me an extra evening to study for the accounting final in 2 weeks. Sometimes I hate being this busy.

It’s Thanksgiving week. Tigs and I only have Thursday off, though I think we’re both hoping to get out early on Friday for good behavior. Despite that, it’s shaping up to be an alright week. The worst part will be tonight. I have class, which is going to suck. We’ve been assigned a team project. We have to watch a movie, and then analyze the management styles it shows. I picked Ocean’s 11, so at least the movie wont suck. After our hour of class, we’ll all gather around the laptop and watch. Maybe we’ll be able to snag a room with a projector and use that instead. Of course, that’s all presuming the person who’s supposed to bring the movie actually does. I feel like I’m in high school again.

Once tonight’s finished it’s smooth sailing for the rest of the week. There is agility class tomorrow night, and just work on Wednesday. The college is closed for the day, so no class that night. Thursday is Thanksgiving, and Friday at work should be really quiet. I’m hoping to spend some of Wednesday doing a bit of studying for my accounting test next Wednesday. This weekend I had hoped to be able to go up to visit Kim and the boys again, but I don’t think that’s going to happen before finals.
